Ludlowville Falls

Honestly, there’s not much to say about Ludlowville Falls other than I love it!! One set of falls, maybe 100 yards across a village park from a small parking area – Ludlowville Falls is a sight to behold.

Taken July 16, 2011 at the peak of a CNY drought

For those of you a bit braver, you can climb down a steep bank over and around some boulders to make your way to the creekbed.

Notice the cavern off to the left - in high water this is completely hidden from view

To give you an idea of what it looks like when there’s water running over it – here’s a picture I took last fall.

Ludlowvile Falls is just a few miles north of Ithaca, outside of Lansing, NY.  Pack a picnic and stop by sometime!
